You don't need to earn rest. You just need to let yourself have it.

There's a particular kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix. It's the tired that comes from being everything to everyone — from running on adrenaline and willpower for so long you've forgotten what it feels like to simply be.

This retreat isn't about squeezing in as much as possible. It's about finally slowing down — in the mountains of Vermont, surrounded by women who get it, in a space designed for nothing but your restoration.

Come as you are. Rest as much as you need. Leave feeling like yourself again.

"There is no pressure to do it all.
Rest is part of the experience."

You are allowed to nap. To wander into town. To sit by the fire with your coffee and do absolutely nothing. This is not laziness. This is the work.

Nervous system restoration is real, necessary, and wildly underrated.

Your itinerary. Your pace. Your rules.

Every woman here will have a different experience — and that's the whole point. There are offerings each day, but nothing is mandatory. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and participate in whatever way feels right.

🌿

Gentle morning movement

Yoga and strength sessions designed for all bodies and abilities. Show up. Or sleep in. Both are restorative choices.

Workshops & Learning

Educational sessions and mini-workshops that meet you where you are. Engage deeply or just absorb — there's no wrong way.

🛏

Rest, uninterrupted

Nap. Read your book. Journal on the porch. Lie in the sun. The schedule always has space for you to just be.

🛍

Explore Vermont

Wander into town. Browse local shops. Go on a solo hike. Free time is built into every day — use it however restores you.

🌙

Evening Yoga Nidra

Wind down with guided Yoga Nidra, optional journaling, and evenings around the outdoor fire under Vermont stars.

♨️

Hot tub + connection

Shared meals, meaningful conversations, and the hot tub — the magic of being held by a small, like-minded community of women.

A home that has held women in restoration for over 150 years.

Good Commons is not a conference center. It's a 4,700 square foot fully renovated Vermont home that wraps you in the kind of comfort that makes it easy to exhale — rich with country tradition, modernized thoughtfully so you have everything you need and none of what you don't.

Shared spa-style bathrooms. Cozy common spaces. A hot tub. An outdoor fire. Room to move through the house at your own rhythm. Space to be alone when you need it and together when you want it.

Vermont in October means sweater weather, peak foliage, crisp air, and the irresistible pull to slow down. Nature does half the work for us.

Vermont restoration

A rhythm, not a schedule.

Questions answered.

Is this right for me if I've never done a retreat before?
Yes. This retreat was designed especially for women who feel stretched thin and have perhaps never given themselves permission to rest in this way before. No experience with yoga, meditation, or any kind of wellness practice is needed. Everything is optional, adaptive, and pressure-free. If you're feeling the pull toward this — that's the right sign.
What if I want to skip a session or need alone time?
That's not only allowed — it's encouraged. This retreat is built around nervous system regulation and restoration. You are always welcome to rest, step away, or move at your own pace. No one is tracking your attendance. No one will check in to see if you came to yoga. This is your weekend.
When does the retreat begin and end?
The retreat begins Thursday, October 1st with afternoon arrival and an opening dinner that evening. We conclude Sunday, October 4th after a closing session and brunch, with departure around 1pm. Exact arrival and departure times will be confirmed closer to the retreat.
How many women will be there?
A maximum of 16 women — intentionally kept small to create a genuinely supportive, intimate experience with plenty of room for both connection and solitude. You won't feel lost in a crowd here.
Are the bathrooms shared?
Yes — shared spa-style bathrooms, thoughtfully designed for comfort and ease. You won't be roughing it.
What should I bring?
A detailed packing list will come closer to the retreat. In general: comfortable clothing for movement and rest, layers for Vermont weather (it's October — bring a cozy sweater), a journal and pen, and anything that makes you feel held and supported. Leave the to-do lists at home.
I still have questions — how do I reach you?
We'd love to hear from you. Reach out to via email to kristin@nourishwomenshealt.com and we'll get back to you soon. If you're feeling uncertain about whether this is right for you, please don't hesitate — we're happy to talk it through.

You've been waiting for a sign. This is it.

Sixteen spots. One Vermont autumn. A group of women who are all carrying the same quiet exhaustion — and ready to set it down.
